THE PROCESS ‘Time in the planning stage saves dollars’ (STAGE ONE) ‘Budget control happens by pricing each stage of the works’ (STAGE TWO) Preliminary drawings ‘Value for money comes from attention to detail’ (STAGE THREE) Construction documents ‘Written approval is required to authorise any expenditure’ (STAGE FOUR) Pricing ‘Site inspections thru construction saves dollars and ensures that the built form maintains the integrity of the original design concept’ (STAGE FIVE) Construction ‘The creation of the built form - from concept to reality is the most complex of art forms - requiring patience, skill and understanding’ (STAGE SIX) Occupation ‘Communication is the key to the creation of good design -hassle free building can only occur with full, complete and detailed documentation - when in doubt detail it’ Fees are quoted as a fixed fee for the stage being undertaken based on a percentage of the construction cost of the project. Fees are paid on an agreed cash flow. In the event fees fall due then work will cease on the project until the shortfall is made up. In the case where the budget changes then the fee will be adjusted accordingly. ‘Project management is the additional extended service to mother a project in all its elements on a daily basis over and above the architectural role’ |
